Wall Vases

Wall vases brighten up any space and they are incredibly versatile.  They are also out of the reach of small children and pets.

In small areas, it frees up much-needed table space while still bringing in a floral element.

I prefer styles with a glass vase and simple yet elegant hardware.  I chose these wrought iron and glass amphora vases for our back porch area.  They definitely add a ‘wow-factor’ and seem to get more notice than tabletop flowers.

Try using a combination of seasonal flowers, branches and sprays, or let a single flower/branch take center stage.

Tip

To clean glass vases, mix water, a couple of drops of dish soap, 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 4 tablespoons of rice.  Swirl this mixture in the vase for a few minutes. The rice will scrub away the residue inside the glass.  Rinse and dry thoroughly.
